<li>AMOUNT OF SERVICE CHARGES We are transparent: your rental contract shows the full breakdown of your costs and the total amount. You can also check this in WoodsApp, any time. Want an estimate already? On the page for your location, you’ll find an indication for each apartment. Is there no amount listed yet for your location? The costs are known 3 months before the building is put into use. Please note, disclaimer: the cost overview on the website is always an indication.</li>
<li data-start="600" data-end="632">BREAKDOWN OF SERVICE CHARGES
<ul>
<li data-start="600" data-end="632">Usage (excluding your own apartment): this part of the service charges is paid as a monthly advance payment. It depends on usage. We estimate the costs in advance, and each year you receive the settlement of the actual costs incurred. Paid too much? You will receive the difference back. It can also work the other way around. These costs include advance payments for electricity and water in the shared spaces. Also included are advance payments for shared services such as security, glass insurance, preventive maintenance, <a id="OWA6252d024-9235-0a3f-64cf-332e01fed6fd" class="x_OWAAutoLink" href="https://www.theurbanwoods.com/nl/veel-gestelde-vragen/#grow-squad" data-auth="NotApplicable">The Garden Squad</a>, administration costs, and the cleaningcosts for keeping the shared spaces fresh.</li>
<li data-start="600" data-end="632">Shared facilities: this part of the service charges is not dependent on usage. Think of facilities such as a gym and bicycle storage. You pay for these monthly.</li>
<li data-start="600" data-end="632">Wifi: available everywhere in The Urban Woods — in shared spaces and also in your own apartment (!). Fixed monthly fee. Not dependent on usage.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>CARPETING COSTS: these costs relate to the finishing of your apartment, such as flooring and wall coverings. They depend on the size of your apartment, not on usage. In practice, it is a depreciation cost. That is why the amount is known in advance and fixed. It is not part of the service charges. However, you do pay it monthly. It is added to your base rent.</li>

<li>OPSPLITSING SERVICEKOSTEN

<li>VERBRUIK (EX JE EIGEN WONING): dit deel van de servicekosten betaal je als een maandelijks voorschot. Ze zijn afhankelijk van verbruik. Vooraf schatten we de kosten in en jaarlijks krijg je de afrekening van de werkelijk gemaakte kosten. Te veel betaald? Krijg je het verschil terug. Dit kan ook andersom zijn. Onder deze kosten vallen voorschotbijdragen voor elektriciteit en water van de gedeelde ruimtes. Verder is inbegrepen de voorschotbijdragen voor gemeenschappelijke zaken zoals beveiliging, glasverzekering, preventief onderhoud, <a id="OWA6252d024-9235-0a3f-64cf-332e01fed6fd" class="x_OWAAutoLink" href="https://www.theurbanwoods.com/nl/veel-gestelde-vragen/#grow-squad" data-auth="NotApplicable">The Garden Squad</a> en administratiekosten en de kosten om de gemeenschappelijke ruimtes heerlijk schoon en fris te houden.</li>

This is a bundle of water, heating, and electricity that is included in your subscription. Luckily, it is relatively cheap. Why? Re-using water is what we love and generating energy is our specialty. We don’t charge for free energy. That’s only fair.

No surprises in the annual statement. Did you use less than anticipated? You get your money back and vice versa.</li>

<li>Save We do everything we can to help you save energy: better for you and for the world. The Woods are equipped with the latest technology for efficient use. Plus, in the WoodsApp you learn about your behavior and improvement opportunities. You also see &#8211; live! &#8211; when the building generates more energy than we use.</li>

<li>Free energy that is completely free does not exist. Included in your subscription are the installations that generate energy. For example, solar panels, earth heat sources, heat pumps, and home batteries for power storage.</li>

<li>Gas We don&#8217;t do gas. Not necessary. The climate deserves better. For heating, we use the heat pump, which extracts heat from the earth. Durable and efficient. To cook, we offer induction. Yes, you live more sustainably without even noticing it.</li>

A professional maintenance team &#8211; the Grow Squad &#8211; makes The Urban Woods bloom. They include gardeners, biologists and maybe even you. We have lots of gardens, both sky-high and down-to-earth. Some see this as a lot of work, but we see it as opportunities. The Grow Squad makes it happen.
<h3>Gardeners</h3>
The Urban Woods are wrapped in gardens and our gardeners fly around them like bees around trees. They make sure our little part of the globe is always in the best state. Year-round, they make their hands dirty to make our gardens and your balcony shine.
<h3>Biologists</h3>
Connecting city to nature. A team of biologists picked each plant carefully to help local wildlife colonies grow in numbers. They continuously monitor this accurately and optimize our greenery. Some forsythia for butterflies, some piles of leaves for the hedgehogs. Twelve months a year, we reactivate biodiversity in the city.
<h3>You</h3>
The gardens are green heavens for leisure and chill. But hey, if you want to put your hands into the mud, you are welcome to join the Squad any time. In WoodsApp, you see what gardening activities are planned. Sign up to volunteer whenever it suits you. A soil feeling can be soul-healing.

The type of Personal Data that THE URBAN WOODS collect and for what purpose or purposes depend on the type of Services you have signed up to and the location where the Services will be provided.
THE URBAN WOODS may collect the following information:

<li>Personal Data that you provide to THE URBAN WOODS when you use the Services, for example when you sign up for a newsletter, event, deal, waiting list or fill out a form. <li>Personal Data that you provide to THE URBAN WOODS when you onboard for an apartment. With being interested in an apartment it is necessary to obtain your full name, address, date of birth, e-mail address and phone number. When you want to rent a specific apartment we will need additional information; for example payment slips, bank statements, employer’s statement and information from your partner or co-tenant(s) your ID information, name, gender, age, country of residence, email address, signature, dietary preferences, interests, and preferences.</li>
<li>Other information about your use of the Services not knowingly provided to THE URBAN WOODS but collected via analytics functionality in the Services: general usage information, including recent browser history (as sent by your browser) and IP addresses. Amongst other data, we process the following Personal Data from visitors to THE URBAN WOODS Website: website visit and use, IP address, duration and time of visit to the website, use of social media.</li>

<li>Making physical arrangements with you</li>
<li>Performing marketing activities regarding THE URBAN WOODS in general. We will only use the information submitted for marketing if you have provided consent for us to do so. You can unsubscribe from marketing e-mails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in the e-mails we are sending you.</li>
<li>Improving THE URBAN WOODS’s products and services (using surveys, online questionnaires &amp; pilot testing).</li>
<li>Meeting all legal and regulatory requirements applicable to THE URBAN WOODS, or as otherwise required by law or regulation, or requested by competent authorities, or for the protection of persons or property, or</li>

<li>Woodmates will be automatically enrolled into THE URBAN WOODS ex-residents program and gain access to THE URBAN WOODS Community perks and benefits. We will only keep data that is needed for this program such as your name and email address. THE URBAN WOODS is enthusiastic about staying in touch.
